How HireMeNorthernNS works is that on our website here, you create a profile and submit a 60 second video "pitching" to employers on why you should be their next hire. Contest closes on March 10th and then people's choice voting will run from March 11 - 18th. Our selection committee will choose a winner on March 18th.
Employers, this is a great way to view a bunch of potential candidates all on one website! Plus, we also have a feature that allows you to request resumes and book interviews from the young professionals that peak your interest! |

Nova Scotia Government. |
Shortly after “Now or Never, An Urgent Call to Action for Nova Scotians” was released, a small group of local business people started meeting to talk about how, collectively, they could accomplish what none of us could do individually, what we could no longer ask or expect any government to do alone – make a significant, lasting difference to the economy of Cumberland County. Through several meetings with local business leaders, and encouragement from our local municipal government, our three-pillar strategy began to take shape, and the Cumberland Business Connector was born.
